Our mission statement at Little Explorers is to provide a safe, affordable, high-quality care where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. Our program is designed to meet the special needs of infants, toddlers, preschool, and school aged children in a loving and nurturing environment. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early care and educational experience which promotes early child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.

  • To carefully screen potential employees and to train employees thoroughly in good child development and health and safety practices

  • To staff daycare so that each child's individual needs will be met with appropriate student to teacher ratios.

  • To develop a policy of frequent parent conferences, newsletter, and other means of communications.

  • Establish an integrated multidisciplinary system of professional development and practices that are respectful and responsive to each child and family.

  • Always welcome parent questions and concerns giving serious attentions to each concern, and addressing those concerns promptly

  • Host parent-teacher conferences at regular intervals to discuss growth and development of children.

  • Host open houses and parent-child engagement nights to explore new concepts and teaching methods throughout the school year.

  • To see that each child is fed a well-balanced diet. They will be fed when they are hungry and we will never force a child to eat as this can develop poor eating habits as adults.

  • Children must feel unique and be allowed to express their feelings openly whether it be anger, sadness, joy or any other emotion, but also learn how to express such emotions in a safe way.
